2010 Watervale Riesling-SOLD OUT

The 2010 Watervave Riesling is our third vintage from clos Clare's Riesling patch adjoining the historical Florita vineyard. The 40 -year-old dry-grown vines had a fantastic growing season, thanks to above average rainfalls in Winter and Spring.

This luscious 2008 Grenache comes from the dry-grown "Hayes Vineyard", planted by Kevin Hayes in 1975. Run on biodynamic principles

2007 "Cemetery Block" Shiraz

Just across the road from the Watervale cemetery, with headstones listing a districts who's who, is our block of 17 year old shiraz. These vines are really hitting their straps to produce elegant perfumed fruit from the valley's cool micro climate.

Just across the road from the Watervale cemetery, with headstones listing the district's who's who, is our block of 15 year old shiraz. These vines are really hitting their straps to produce elegant perfumed fruit from the valley's cool micro climate.

2006 "The Hayes Boy" Grenache-SOLD OUT

This luscious Grenache comes from dry-grown vines on the Hayes Vineyard planted by Kevin Hayes in 1975. Run on biodynamic principles, pruned and jigged by one devoted vine dresser, the low yields deliver great character. Look for maraschino cherries and a little chocolate on the nose, with red currants and seductive tannins driving the palate.

Riesling is the Clare Valley's signature variety and this is our fourth vintage from clos Clare's Riesling patch, adjoining the historic 'Florita' vineyard in Watervale.

The 41-year-old dry grown vines were hand-harvested on the 13th and 14th of March and taken to The Wilson Vineyard at Polish Hill River, where they were chilled for 24 hours prior to whole bunch pressing and vinification.
